The Santa Fe Springs Carbon Operation designs and produces ceramic and
carbon high temperature composites for aerospace and automotive
applications. The Ceramic Composites applications include turbine engine
components, industrial products and launch vehicles. The Carbon Composites
business involves wet and dry friction applications with the focus on

The facility has an opening for a Process Development Engineer.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate process development, cost
reduction initiatives, and provide procedures/instructions for manufacturing
activities. Normal duties include providing engineering support to
operations and monitoring process activities to ensure compliance with
quality requirements. Additional responsibilities include development and
maintenance of engineering/manufacturing specifications, establishing test
procedures and product requirements, and supporting business development
activities. Knowledge of processing Carbon-Carbon or Ceramic Matrix
Composites and knowledgeable of related technologies highly desired.
