Subject: Henry High School Engineering, Math and Science Career Exploration Fair 

Hello Henry High Engineering Academy Career Exploration Fair participants! 

We were so very grateful for you participation in our March, 2009 Henry High Engineering Academy Career Exploration Fair!  It was a great success because you took the time out to help our students and show them how exciting careers in Engineering, Math and Science can be!  

Our Engineering and Design Academy is going strong and, we have now added Digital Electronics to our Academy curriculum.  As you know, our Engineering Academy is now one of only 10 high schools in the United States to have an Engineering Academy supported by the National Academy Foundation. 

We are beginning to plan our 5th annual Career Exploration Fair which will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. The purpose of the Career Fair is to connect our student's learning to the various engineering, math and science related careers.  I am hoping that you or a member of your organization/company/school can participate once again.  The format will be the same as last year - we will provide you with a table/s and our students will come in to visit your exhibits.  We will hold half of the Fair in our Library and the other half in our "Cafetorium" again this year.  Although this year, we will expand the

"cafetorium" location so that exhibitors are not as crowded.   Last

year, several of the participants had excellent demonstrations they brought for the students and I'd like to encourage all participants this year to bring demos/visuals or anything the students can touch, hold, examine, etc.  We're also asking again this year for exhibitors to provide me with information that you would like our students to know about your company, organization, school, field of engineering or work you are involved in before the Career Fair so our students will be better prepared to talk with you during the Fair.  We can provide any technology needs you may have.  

Please let me know if you think any of your staff members would like to participate again this year. We will provide continental breakfast and the friendly, helpful staff and interested students!  I have enclosed a confirmation form for you to use if you can participate.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!! I can't tell you how much our students value your visit!  Many of our students have been influenced by you and other professionals who they have talked with at the Career Exploration Fair! 

TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE REQUESTED THE NEWS VIDEO OF LAST YEAR'S CAREER EXPLORATION FAIR - I HOPE TO HAVE IT WITHIN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!
